bad day!

“they’re not bad” I said in a croaky voice laying down again. my mother was about get my birthday presents when she got a call… I had an allergic reaction she took me to hospital.

I’d been talking to my mum about my birthday for hours and one of the things she refused to get me was yellow roller skates. As I lied in bed thinking about tomorrow, my small tiny thoughts surrounded me in a dream…

I swam slowly towards my mother… she was there but the world around was blurred I couldn’t see I was lost. Suddenly my dream came to an end!

the dent!

“But I didn’t mean to hit it that hard!” Jhon yelled at his mother as he stormed through the door, clunking his gear down on the old wooden chair his dad had bought in a auction. “Yes, I know but still, give an apology to Mrs. Myer” his mother said in disbelief. then looking away at his dirty old baseball clothes she added, “take your shirt to the laundry it will need a wash!”

Jhon went sadly to his room thinking about cars, base-balls and dents! and although he knew deep down that the dent and the hit was certainly not an accident he refused to admit his knowledge.

a quiz from scratch!

here is a spelling quiz that I have made, all you need to do is

  1.  click the green flag (to stop the quiz at any time you can click the red octagon!)
  2. read carefully what the creature is trying to say (very carefully)
  3. answer the questions correctly to gain points.

hungry for lunch

gripping tightly to the the large tree, the monster climbed steadily onward toward the small creature he wanted to consume. his oversized arms were like a beekeepers body when covered in bees,  his beady eyes watched the mouse like creature, never looking down nor up. the small rodent looked up his tiny nose sniffing for more of the berries the monster had used for a trap. but the little creature did not realize the monster lurking in the corner of the top branch, and before it could Hesitate the monster scooped the rodent up and shoved it in his mouth.

deep down in the water

the ship moved quietly along the still and calm water waiting, watching for some tiny thing to come springing out of the blue, though its wish didn’t entirely come true something did come…, it came and nocked the ship and its precious cargo right over. the white piano that had been held ‘captive’ in the ships wooden boarded walls fell silently into the water, its gentle sound floating away to be lost in the deep, deep, salty ocean. but this wasn’t all bad because the octopus who had been watching and waiting for silence to come, slowly and steadily emerged.
